Magazine Subscription

I'm looking to subscribe to a magazine to get to know what artists and designers are out the at the moment, aswell as for inspiration and the fact i want to have something to read that i enjoy and is beneficial to me.
I really want to subscribe to CMYK magazine but i'd have to fork out $79 for it so, that might be a christmas request. Ive looked at GRAPHIK magazine but its not starting again until January.
I'll post again when have a subscription rigged up.

DOF examples

This image has a shallow depth of field as the image in the foreground is in focus and the background is blurred. The Apeture on the camera would have been very open letting a lot of light in.

DOF examples

This image has very deep depth of field therefore the Apeture is very tight and the whole image is in focus

A website with handrawn graphics which caught my eye

University Ideas

I'm almost 100% sure that im going to go to Uni.
My preference is advertising and graphic design which is product based, but im still finding my style as a designer so i dont want to close my mind to other courses yet.
I've looked on the UCAS website, searched different courses and uni's and have come up with a shortlist
-Manchester
-Nottingham
-LCC
-Kingston
-Bedfordshire
-Huddersfield
and a few others.

Retro Poster Project YR 1

For my Retro poster project in yr 1, i chose Bovril as my product and basically used a constructivist style too create two posters.

My Progression

I'm at the start of my second year at college, im twenty years old and im thinking about my progression. My main aim is to go to University and get a degree, so im beginning to look into what courses will suit my style what job i want to go into after i leave Uni and what is the best Uni for me to go to.
Throughout the first year we got our heads around CMYK and RGB, which are the standard formats of print colour, but when your interacting with the web and colour you us hex code which instead of defining a colour by red, green or blue (RGB) or cyan, magenta, yellow, black (CMYK) its defined by Codes
WORLD  SKILLS:
This is the design that got me to the final 10 UKworldskills final, in the first year at college.
I've got more work to show and i'll upload to give you a feel for my style of work.
